Adventures in Australia

In January 2026, I visited Australia exploring vibrant cities like Sydney and Melbourne to witnessing iconic natural wonders such as the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and the Daintree Rainforest.

Top spots of the tour included Sydney’s sparkling harbor, the Outback’s Uluru, the Phillip Island, Melbourne’s culture, and the scenic Great Ocean Road.
In brief, I visited the following cities and locations:

Melbourne, Victoria
Melbourne is internationally renowned for its street art, I experienced colourful displays throughout much of the city, with the ever-changing Hosier Lane a favourite for this urban art scene. Besides this, we visited Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT) Aboriginal art building, the Shrine of Remembrance, the Melbourne Skydeck and the amazing Flinders Street Station which is Australia’s oldest train station.

Great Ocean Road, Victoria
This coastal drive is one of the most scenic places to visit in Australia. The route passes dramatic cliffs, beaches, and forests. I made an amazing Photo shoot stop at the Twelve Apostles.  Adelaide, South Australia
Adelaide is known for great food and easy access to wine regions like the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. We visited the Central Market, and nearby Glenelg Beach. Colourful murals and incredible sky-high portraits can be found at almost every turn in Adelaide. Our tour guide invited me for a night photo walk to discover some colourful murals in a different view.

Uluru–Kata Tjuta, Northern Territory
The red monolith glows beautifully at sunrise and sunset, and the nearby Kata Tjuta rock formations are equally stunning. It’s one of the most iconic places to see in Australia and a strong part of Indigenous culture.

Cairns & Great Barrier Reef, Queensland
The Gateway to Queensland’s tropical north, Cairns is renowned for its tropical climate and care-free vibe. Cairn’s is just a short leap from the World-Heritage wonders of the Barron Gorge National Park Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
The nearby Kuranda village in the Rainforest added another natural wonder to our trip. See links to Kuranda Skyrail and Scenic rail tour

Sydney, New South Wales
Australia’s oldest and most iconic city, Sydney presented a relaxed, beachside vibe within a thriving metropolis. The Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are just outstanding.
Just two hours from Sydney, the Blue Mountains were perfect for a short escape. Top spot was a walk to the Three Sisters lookout and riding the scenic railway.
